| Message | Last Saturday a group of Z's from my club (Northwest A) visited a new racetrack that's been build in north central Oregon. Oregon Raceway Park, situated in Grass Valley, Oregon is ideally located about 30 miles south of the Junction between I 84 and US97. The track is 2.3 miles, of 40 foot wide perfect asphault. A couple blind corners, off camber corners and a drop into a bowl (called the half pipe) that's unlike any other track I've seen. It's brand new, the track is there but still working on curbs, safety rails, barricades, etc. We were lucky enough to be allowed 4 laps, 2 clockwise and 2 counterclockwise. The team that designed it refers to a "very technical"track.
This place is gonna be fun! If any of you have a chance to visit, or, even better, compete there, don't pass it up!
 Dan
